


Most of what happened seemed like filler. This was a reread for me, but it’s not my favorite in the series. Claire and the rest of the Glass House Gang have to do their best to keep things livable. Plus, a ghost hunting show has come into Morganville and is determined to unearth some of the town’s secrets. The human and vampire populations are at odds about who should be running the town. Things have dramatically changed since the draug wreaked havoc in Morganville. Their chemistry was strong! One of the things I could not believe was that Lyla was a freshman.

I loved the friends-to-lovers aspect and thought it was done very well. I know this is the first in a series, so some unanswered questions could possibly be answered. I wish it was a bit longer because everything seemed rushed. This book was okay which is why I gave it 3/5 stars. Will Lyla and Beck have mind-blowing sex or will she have to find another contender? Yet, the seventh thing on her list may have Beck backing out of the challenge. Her beautiful, hockey player best friend, Beck, is going to help her complete everything on the list she’s made. Lyla is your typical shy girl, but she decides that she needs to change things up.
